What’s best way for a board of directors to fire a company’s CEO? Is it really as easy as Donald Trump says it on his show. In this imperfect world, and particularly Kuwait, it doesn’t work that way. In fact in Kuwait, shareholders rarely have any long term investment outlook and miss the part which states that shareholders “own” stakes in the company. CEO’s never leave easily and in most cases it’s all about what’s in it for them, i.e. the payout package. Below is an interesting chart by The Economist, showing why they got the boot and the payout packages the received.
