No doubt, Agility as a whole is a very good company but the management of Agility dubai (i.e The Jorgan-Peterson & co), in particular has spoiled the image of Agility in Dubai & in the world to the ground zero. I would say, these 2 guys have played a vital role in losing many clients including kbr contract specially in Dubai.
I would suggest that, the Agility high command in Dubai must take immediate action against these two guys & save some lost prestiege in dubai market.

You are right. The contract is worth $8.5Bn and not the losses. This means that minimum losses would be in the $120-$136 million range. Although this new amount wouldn't cause the company to be "gone", it is the debarring from future contracts part that is very tough to swallow and crushes the cocmpany's valuation. Thanks again.

>"According to Mr.Shelnutt, if convicted of violations of >the False Claims Act, Agility faces probation and a fine of >up to twice the gain it realized or twice the loss to the >United States. The company’s market cap stands at ≈ $1Bn. >If convicted, Agility will be required to pay the US >government ≈ $17Bn. This means the company would be gone."

If Agility defrauded the US out of $60 million on a series of food supply contracts worth $8.5 billion surely that would mean it stands to pay a fine of $120 million, only more if the US military paid more than Agility gained. Where did the $17 billion figure come from? How did the US lose out of $8.5 billion?
