Mark Twain is a famous American author and a humorist. Some of his celebrated novels are Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Twain made a large amount of money from his writing but lost most of them in bad investments. He made a tour around the world lecturing in different places to pay off his creditors, even-though he had no legal obligation to do so. Mark never lived to witness the Great Depression.
